Management Team

Practice Manager:  Monique Corcoran, FACMPE

Monique Corcoran is the current Practice Manager of Champlain Valley Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, PC (CVOMS).   Monique has managed the practice  for over 14 years.  She is responsible for the daily operations of the practice.  The business staff, which she directly surpervises, is trained in all aspects of insurance benefits and claims submission.  Their goal is to provide you with exceptional personalized care.

Monique is the current Immediate Past President of the Vermont Medical Group Management Association, (a state wide organization for practice managers) and is the current President of The JAWS Society, a national organization for oral and maxillofacial surgery practice administrators.

Prior to moving to Vermont in 1996, Monique was the Business Administrator for 6 years for Hartford Anesthesiology and Hartford Pathology in Connecticut.  These groups were comprised of over 65 doctors and 30 Nurse Anesthetists providing services in over 5 hospitals with billings of over $50 million/year.  Prior to that, Monique was an independent Practice Management consultant in New Jersey for primary and specialty care medical practices as well as general and specialty care dental practices.  Monique also worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Connecticut in Provider Relations and Corporate Communications.

Monique graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Hartford and is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives.  

Clinical Coordinator:  Judith Wilson, RN, BSN

Judi Wilson graduated Cum Laude from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Societies.

Judi worked at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, NY on the Orthopedics/Neurology unit for 4 years and the PACU/Ambulatory Care Unit for 2 years. She then assumed the role of Charge Nurse for both Orthopedic/Neurology and PACU care units.

In 2002 Judi moved back to Vermont where she worked in Fletcher Allen Health Care's Surgical Intensive Care Unit/Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for 5 years. 

Judi is certified in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and is a BLS Certified Instructor. She is also American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Anesthesia Assistant Certified.

Judi is committed to ongoing staff education.  Her goal is to have every staff member educated to the highest possible standard to ensure seamless integration of the surgical team.  This is your best assurance of high quality care and safety while in our practice.
